Zezi Chen
Zezi Chen is a Research Associate at the Chair of Chinese Legal Culture, where he contributes to a research project on Socialist Core Values in Chinese courts. He is currently pursuing a PhD on the development of legal reasoning by Chinese judges, with a research focus on legal reasoning, judicial reform, and empirical legal studies. He received both his LL.B. and LL.M. in Legal Theory from Jilin University in Changchun. He has served as Secretary of the Family Justice Research Center at Jilin University School of Law, edited the Quarterly Report on Chinese Judicial Studies, and interned at a grassroots court in Fujian Province as well as at Grandall Law Firm in Fuzhou.
