Zsófia van Loo

Zsófia van Loo is a Research Assistant as part of the BMFTR-funded project on China's Foreign-related Rule of Law. She holds two LLM degrees in International and Transnational Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam and in Human Rights Law from the University of Edinburgh (with Distinction), where her research primarily focused on corporate accountability avenues for international crimes in supply chains. Alongside, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Dutch Law from the Free University of Amsterdam as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chinastudies from Leiden University. Her professional experience includes internships at, amongst others, the International Law Division of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and the European Commission's DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.
